At Out Of The Grey Coffee®, we’re not a middleman or reseller. We are a dedicated coffee roasting company.

We source, roast, package, and ship our coffees ourselves from our roastery in Bedford County, Virginia.

When you order from us, your coffee comes directly from the people who roast it.

Orders may be placed through our website 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

How Quickly Will My Order Ship?

Our coffees are roasted to order.

Rather than roasting large quantities of coffee and allowing it to sit on a warehouse shelf waiting for an order, we roast based on the coffees our customers actually order.

Most orders leave our roastery within 3–5 business days of being placed.

Once your coffee is roasted, we move quickly. Your order is shipped within 24 hours of roasting, and currently most orders leave our roastery within approximately 12 hours of being roasted.

You will receive an order confirmation email after placing your order and a shipping confirmation email once your order has left our roastery.

How Long Does Shipping Take?

Once your order leaves our roastery, most orders within the United States arrive within approximately 2–5 business days.

International orders generally arrive within approximately 6–10 business days, although delivery times may vary depending on the destination, carrier, customs processing, and circumstances outside our control.

Please remember that roasting and processing time is separate from carrier transit time.

Where Do We Ship?

We ship throughout the 48 contiguous United States, as well as:

• Alaska

• Hawaii

• U.S. territories

• APO/FPO/DPO addresses

• Canada

• Many other international destinations

Depending on the destination and order, shipments may be handled by USPS, UPS, FedEx, or another available carrier.

Available shipping methods and applicable shipping charges are displayed during checkout.

International Orders

Yes—we ship Out Of The Grey Coffee® around the world.

International shipments may be subject to customs inspections, import restrictions, duties, taxes, brokerage fees, or other charges imposed by the destination country.

Unless otherwise stated at checkout, any duties, taxes, customs charges, or import fees imposed by the destination country are the responsibility of the recipient.

Tracking Your Order

Once your order has shipped, we will send you a shipping confirmation email containing tracking information when tracking is available.

Please allow time for the carrier to scan your package into its system. Tracking information may not update immediately after you receive your shipping confirmation.

Please Double-Check Your Shipping Address

Please carefully review your shipping address before submitting your order.

If you discover an error, contact us as quickly as possible.

Because we work to get freshly roasted coffee packaged and on its way quickly after roasting, we cannot guarantee that a shipping address can be changed after an order has entered processing.

Once a package has been transferred to the carrier, we cannot guarantee that the carrier will be able to redirect it.

Delayed or Missing Packages

Once your package leaves our roastery, delivery is handled by the shipping carrier.

Weather, holidays, carrier disruptions, customs processing, incorrect or incomplete addresses, and other circumstances outside our control can occasionally affect delivery times.

If your tracking information shows an unusual delay or you believe your package may be lost, please contact the carrier for the most current delivery information.
